Jessica Baker and I’ve been a working writer for the past twelve years. I’ve worked as a technical writer and instructional designer, with forays into everything from fiction to journalism. In summary, I’m pretty much your stereotypical English major word-nerd who just can't cut herself off from the writing tap even if she tried.
My years as a technical communicator taught me to be direct when conveying key pieces of information; an important skill in copywriting. The variety of writing jobs I’ve endeavored — from the descriptive to the creative — enables me to bring a well-rounded, think-outside-the-box approach to client projects.
