Direct Mail Promo (Spec)

BRAND: Fresh’s Deli (a fictional bistro)

TARGET AUDIENCE: The target audience is mainly the average working class American who may go to the bistro for lunch, or bring friends (or family) for dinner.

GOAL: The goal of this spec piece was to reach a wide audience and draw crowds into the bistro for the opening of its new location in the Florida Mall.

SOLUTION: The solution I came up with was a direct mail ad with a 20% off deal; this would not only reach a great deal of people, but also draw them in with a discount. Thus, the bistro would — ideally — be packed for its grand opening. With the promise of quality, freshness, and a worldly flair, new customers would turn into repeat patrons.
